Nearly every player on the current Spurs team will remain with the Australian team as they embark on a new demonstrating just how well their rebuiig process has gone thus far.

How much the Spurs spent on Destiny Udogie
Destiny Udogie made a name for himself in Italy during the 2021–2022 Serie A season, showcasing his talent.
With the freedom to express himself, the self-assured adolescent played as a left wing back and had a stellar first genuine season, demonstrating his ability to influence games in the final third with five goals and three assists in 35 games.
Many European teams, including Manchester City, expressed interest in signing the Italian during his breakout season, but it was Spurs who ultimately closed the transfer, paying £15 million for Udogie in the summer of 2022.

He didn’t, however, sign with the Lilywhites right away; instead, he spent the entire season on loan back to Udinese, where he continued to show promise. This season, though, Postecoglou has only helped him reach new heights.
The scout Jacek Kulig referred to the defender as “excellent,” therefore he was always going to be the starting left back heading into the season.
Despite only being 21 years old, Udogie had already shown that he was more than capable of competing with the best in Italy, and he was eager to get the chance to show off his skills.
Fortunately, the defender has seized the opportunity, becoming as one of Spurs’ most dependable and steady players throughout the course of his 27 Premier League appearances.
With five goal contributions and 2.5 tackles per game during these games, Udogie has shown promise on both ends of the field. His well-rounded profile has also significantly increased the worth of this player.
Udogie, whose estimated worth is £68 million, is now the Spurs team’s most valuable player together with Dejan Kulusevski.
According to CIES’ Football Observatory, this also makes him the most valuable left defender in the entire Premier League and tied for the best value among the top five leagues in Europe.
The fact that Udogie’s valuation is astronomically more than that of James Maddison’s (£34 million) and Heung-min Son’s (£26 million) combined—who have contributed 11 and 24 league goals, respectively, this season—just serves to emphasize how exceptional Udogie is.
Spurs signed Udogie for a very low cost, so they obviously struck gold, but maybe even more impressive is how well they are managing the young player, whose development at Udinese last season has been crucial to his success this year.
